Inline Speed Skating Outdoor National Championships

The dates for the 2009 Outdoor National Championships in Colorado Springs, Colo. have been confirmed by the United States Olympic Committee.

The staff at the Olympic Training Center apologized for the delay in getting us dates, but explained that everything was on hold due to some unfortunate measures that were taken by the Olympic Committee.

The news was released on March 18th that the Olympic Committee is beginning a reduction in their operating budget which includes the elimination of 54 staff positions.

The eliminations of the 54 positions (13 percent of the USOC workforce) are effective immediately and are impacting almost every level of the organization, including the senior-most level of management.

The U.S. Olympic Training Center is able to accommodate our championships and World Team trials during the following dates:
